Follow the leaf from hand-picking to the final cup in the hills of rural Java. Walk or move through the tea fields alongside local farmers, learn how they identify and select the finest leaves, and experience the hand-picking process directly among the tea bushes. The journey continues with traditional tea making, following the leaves as they are prepared, processed, dried, and finally brewed.
Designed with different mobility needs in mind, the experience can be adapted so wheelchair users and travelers requiring additional support can take part alongside the group, with route and field access assessed according to individual requirements. More than a tea tasting, it is a close encounter with the landscape, local farmers, and generations of knowledge behind a Javanese cup of tea.
